During the visit, the delegation met with our residents and closely examined the recycling and production workshops carried out at our Rehabilitation Center under the Zero Waste approach, receiving detailed information about the ongoing work.

In the meeting held with Darülaceze President Esra Ceceli İslam, our institution’s practices on sustainable environmental management, waste separation, and recovery-focused initiatives were evaluated.

As a result of the efforts we have undertaken in line with the Zero Waste Movement, initiated under the auspices of the esteemed First Lady Emine Erdoğan and now recognized internationally as a model, Darülaceze has been awarded the Zero Waste Compliance Certificate. The certificate was presented to our President Esra Ceceli İslam by Provincial Director Dr. M. Ejder Batur.
